Banverket Trafik has a responsibility to make sure that the companies who traffic the Swedish railroad have the correct information about the status of the railroad. One of Banverket Trafiks Information systems (Opera) presents the train?s actual position on a map and provides the user with physical information about the trains. Due to increasing demands on the Information systems, Banverket Trafik needs to update the present system architecture in order to manage the increasing demands on map graphics and map functions. This paper analysis the Information system Opera on the basis of theory and support of methods and discuss problems and demands for Opera.

The system must be able to ensure that it never displays information that is out of date. Thus, it is important to create a layer and component based architecture for the solution, making it possible to control, in detail, the information?s age as it moves through the system.

Although this popularity for mergers and acquisitions, most of the mergers and acquisitions fail to create value. One explanation to this failure of value creation is, according to several studies, how companies treat integration of Information systems in the pre-merger evaluation. The paper is a qualitative study using structured informant interviews and analysis of documents. The interviewees are responsible of information about the voucher system in the municipalities. The studied documents describe and clarify the voucher system of the municipality. Neo-institutional organization theory is used to analyse the result.

This study investigates communication and data in Information systems. The paper deals, more specificly, with communication in a CRM-system implemented in a Swedish-founded company in Beijing, China. It discusses cultural, political, linguistic and gender based dilemmas that can arise from the use of a CRM-system in an international and bilingual environment. Fifty-nine interviews were conducted in Sweden and in China, either in Swedish or English. The result of this study shows that communication in the Information system is affected by factors, that are not originated in technical shortcomings of the system, but rather from cultural, political, linguistic and gender based pre-knowledge among individuals.

The result will show if the SAB-system can classify the subject religion in a satisfying way at university libraries.

The author of this report has created a Web-based invoice system and CRM at therequest of the company Webhouse.se. The purpose of the System is to makeeveryday tasks in the company easier. The system also needed to prevent mistakesand errors by managing orders and invoices.The system has been created with the company?s requests in focus. During thedevelopment of the system information security and interaction design have beenimportant aspects that have been taken into consideration.The system has been created using techniques such as PHP and MYSQL.

This report is the result of a thesis carried out during the spring of 2010 at Sandvik Coromant in Gimo. The purpose of this thesis has been to make an inventory and mapping of information used by flow groups that are most relevant for the day-to-day work. This mapping will then form the basis for information supplied by an automated system.The project consisted of:Identifying how the information is supplied today.Inquiring into the needs of an automated system.Which needs of information that will be provided by the system.Data collection occurred in two ways, both through observations and interviews. Observations of the participants were carried out early in the thesis, where the aim was to create a picture of the problem, and gradually develop a basis for the actual interview study. At each observation, an unstructured observation was used, which means that all activity was recorded.

The research objective of this thesis was to conduct a holistic evaluation of an operational Information system. By holistic evaluation we mean that an equal focus was placed on both the system system perspective and its users user perspective, in the actual environment where the system and its users function contextuality. In addition, the methodological objective of the study was to test a new research approach in a real life setting. The participants of the study were twenty newspaper journalists employed at Göteborgs-Posten GP.
